We all have to admit that the gay community has grown stronger and strong for past decade. They are a now a force to be reckon with! They want in on everything (pause)! They even want to be part of sororities as well, but the all black female sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha ain’t having it!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Rev12:4

According to the well-known black sorority, AKA is sorority that is for women, not the opposite gender. This preference is also synonomous with fraternities.

Unfortunately, this hasn’t stopped the black gay men from emulating their signature calls and attire, to their probate shows. People were also shocked when photos started to surface of men adorned in pink and green and pearls, while throwing up their “pinkies.” People were even more shocked to learn the chapter had even filmed a probate show with sounds of the sorority’s famous call “skee wee” being heard in the background.

The gay black men who are trying to be a part of the all-black female sorority are suing them for alleged homophobia and discrimination. I believe there are certain activities, congregations, and social events are not for everyone, but for the specific group. You don’t see a group of heterosexual men complaining about not being able to join a sorority from the time they existed. It’s amazing how the homosexual community has risen so quickly over the 10 years. It makes us wonder what’s going to happen in the next decade. We need to ask ourselves if homosexuality is a choice or genetic mutation of the male and female chromosomes?

Here is a clip of a couple of gay black men imitating the AKAs.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., was founded at Howard University on Jan. 15, 1908.
